US Regime Change in Venezuela: The Documented Evidence

Venezuela sits on an ocean of proven oil reserves. It has been openly slated for regime change by the US and has been for years with documented evidence proving the current opposition vying for power is funded by Washington, for Washington’s, not Venezuela’s benefit.
Sanctions and economic warfare have been aimed at Venezuela just as the US has done with the numerous other nations it has overthrown, invaded, and otherwise destroyed – or those that it is trying to overthrow and destroy.
There is clearly more that contributes to a nation’s success or failure than being “socialist” or “capitalist” – whatever either term even really means. For Venezuela, its failures are a direct and clear result of US imperialism. And only through exposing and rolling back US meddling, can Venezuela’s fortunes be reversed.

Along the way, “MSDNC” talking heads join not-so-progressive neoliberal brethren at CNN (where liberal hosts regularly invite and applaud anti-Trump commentary from former top national spymasters and generals) in doing their best to manufacture consent to the American Empire. As Glenn Greenwald notes, MSNBC has become “reflexively pro-war in the name of stopping President Donald Trump, and [is] now the prime propaganda instrument of the War Machine’s promotion of militarism and imperialism.” Thanks to what Greenwald calls “NBC/MSNBC’s all-consuming militarism”

The Profitless Prosperity Sector Will Collapse…

Ever since Amazon came to dominate internet retailing; there has been a mantra that profits are irrelevant (in the short to medium term) if you can rapidly gain market share. In certain sectors with massive addressable markets, this may be true, but how many billion-dollar dog-walking apps does the world need? How many supposedly ‘disruptive’ industries are simply taking a current industry, adding a bit of marketing flair, maybe an app to the front end and then massively subsidizing users to gain market share, generating explosive revenue growth along the way. If you give a product away for dramatically less than your cost, of course people will migrate to your product.
